Notice of Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of The Baggage Boutique Website.

Please read these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy carefully before using the Website.

By using the Website you are accepting and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. You must not use the Website if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The Baggage Boutique reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you.

It is your responsibility to regularly check these Terms and Conditions for any changes. Continued use of the Website will be taken as your acceptance of those changes. The Website and its content are provided for your personal use only and must not be used for any public or commercial purpose.

 

Domestic Delivery

We are currently experiencing delivery delays due to a high volume of parcels in the Aus Post network and COVID restriction that are in place nationally.

The delivery delays with Aus Post are due to:

  • reduction in air freight capacity and passenger flights (which also carry parcels)
  • a significant increase in parcels volumes, many which require manual sorting
  • hygiene and social distancing requirements in the Aus post network (such as social distancing through zoning, dedicated shift start times to reduce cross over of workers)

Domestic Standard Delivery = 5 days
Domestic Express = Within 48hrs

 

Our Change of Mind Policy

The Baggage Boutique are happy to offer you a refund or exchange for change of mind on full priced items only, and only on items that are purchased online. 

The following change of mind timeframes apply:

Retailer: 5 days from date of purchase.
Please note our retailers may be temporarily closed to ensure the health and safety of our community.

Online (Australia/New Zealand):  3 days from date of delivery.

Unfortunately change of mind does not extend to Online International orders.

Subject to the Consumer Guarantees outlined below, merchandise returned for change of mind within the above timeframes can be returned for an exchange or full refund of the product price within 5 business days from the date of return, subject to the following conditions:

  • Proof of purchase is accompanied with the returned merchandise;
  • The merchandise is unworn, unwashed, unused and in its original condition with all tags intact.
  • For bags, all packaging is intact.

Returned items deemed, at the discretion of TBB customer care, to be damaged, worn, used or without all tags intact will be declined a refund and returned to the purchaser.

Please contact us for any queries you may have on this.

Exceptions to our change of mind policy, where items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange include,

  • Sale items
  • International orders
  • Purchases made outside of the above timeframes

 

Consumer Guarantees

Our Change of Mind Policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and you have consumer guarantees that cannot be limited by us.  If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its sample, then you may be eligible for a refund or exchange.

If you have purchased a product with a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. If you purchased a product with a minor fault, TBB can choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund. Merchandise returned under consumer guarantees can be returned within a reasonable timeframe subject to proof of purchase.

Merchandise marked as seconds or sample product must be chosen carefully as these items cannot be returned due to the fault that was identified at the time of purchase. If the seconds or sample product exhibits a fault (not related to the fault identified at the time of purchase), is not fit for purpose or is incorrectly described, it may be returned in accordance with the above consumer guarantees.

Our customer care team are unable to review any worn or used items via email or phone. All items must be physically returned either via mail or in person in-store to be processed, in accordance with the process detailed below.

 

Online Cancellations & Order Amendments

Unfortunately we are unable to cancel or make any amendments to any online orders after your order is placed.

Amendments prior to order dispatch may include:

  • Change of delivery address
  • Changes to style of equal value
  • Adding items
  • Applying discounts

Please note standard delivery terms and conditions will not apply in this case. To avoid this, please ensure all details provided are full and correct at the time of order placement.

 

Returning Items

When exchanging or refunding an item due to change of mind, TBB will not be able to provide a return postage bag or delivery cost refund on your behalf.

For items being exchanged or refunded due to product fault or damage, TBB will be able to refund you the cost of delivery to our delivery address within 5 business days of us receiving proof of delivery.

We provide the following options at checkout,

Parcel Post - Delivered within 3 business days

Express Post - Next business day delivery within Express Post Network (if order is place before 2pm the previous business day Monday - Friday in accordance with the conditions set out by Aus Post)

MAILOUT:

By joining the Baggage Boutique consumer promotion, purchasing a product or adding to cart (without completion of order), an individual consents to The Baggage Boutique contacting them via email to provide them with specific or general consumer or marketing information and notifying them of rewards, other products and or special offers.

An individual may end mail-out correspondance at any time by contacting The Baggage Boutique customer service team at info@baggageboutique.com.au or via the unsubscribe link on direct email messages.

 

Price

All orders are priced in Australian dollars and include GST.

All prices quoted on the Website exclude postage and handling costs and you will be charged extra for postage and handling, unless otherwise stated as part of a promotional period.

Please note that you will be made aware of any extra costs at the time you place your order, before checkout is finalised.

Prices quoted on the website are subject to change at our sole discretion without notice.

If the price of merchandise is reduced after you place an order, The Baggage Boutique will not offer a subsequent price adjustment. The relevant price of merchandise is the price at the time you place your order.
